Maybe there are many tutorials, how to unlock the bootloader of a xiaomi smartphone. But sometimes we still have trouble understanding.
For those who don't understand what a bootloader is, you can read in the previous post.
For those of you who want to immediately unlock the bootloader, hopefully this article can help overcome it.
Now that process is easier. No need to request bootloader unlock, just go to miui unlock and download Mi Unlock Tool.
Note: - It is less secure when you unlock the device. Your personal information could be leaked or lost. Therefore, we do not recommend or recommend unlocking the device. Do this at your own risk.
Download and extract Mi Unlock on your computer
Go to device settings, All specifications - Tap the MIUI version 7 times. On Developer options: Enable USB debugging and Enable OEM unlocking.
Now add the account and device from the developer option - Mi Unlock Status option. Try linking your account. If you see an error like 86012 etc, it is better to wait a week than to try it.
If you experience "Connect the network and try again", logout from Mi account and directly sign in from Add account.
Check on Mi Unlock Status, then you will see confirms 'Added successfully. Mi account is associated with the device now'.
After rebooting the phone, it's time to enter fastboot mode. The trick is, turn off the phone and press the Power button and volume down at the same time, then connect it with a usb cable.
Now run Mi Unlock Tool as administrator and Click Agree. If you get an error message, like "current account is not bound", follow the instructions below which is "add your account and device in Miui's Settings - Developer options - Mi Unlock Status".
If after that the message "Couldn't unlock" appears and underneath it says "After xx hours of trying to unlock the device", that means you have to wait according to the specified time, then you can try again.
When the time comes, try to unlock again, and now I hope you succeed.
